10 week old kitten sick

I adopted a kitten 2 weeks ago and she is 10 weeks now. Buy she stopped eating sleeps all the time and cries if she can't be cuddling with someone . We are getting some food in her but she is still lethargic and needy, do u have any ideas.

Well at 10 weeks she is still very young. Are you sure that when you got her she was fully weaned? I ask this because kittens wean between 8 and 12 weeks of age, some are quicker, some are slower. It may be that your Kittie guy is still requiring kitten milk and the crying is because she is hungry. This may also explain the lethargy.

Kittens need a lot of food during the first few months and year of life, so it could well be that she is not getting enough nutrition.

You could try giving her some more kitten formula for another week of so and then to start re weaning her yourself.

If she does not pick up in a few more days after you start to feed her milk, then you should be considering taking her to see the vet to have her checked over for any other possible cause of illness.
