12 year old cat loosing weight

Hi,

I have a 12 year old cat who is loosing weight. He eats & drinks as he always has. Acts normal. He is just getting very thin and his coat is not normal. Any info on this???

When ever a cat losses weight but is still eating normally it does suggest that there a underlining illness. there are many conditions which can produce this affect and the only way to diagnose the actual cause is with some blood work.

But the main thing you have to do now is to get them seen my a vet sooner rather than later before.
