4 month old kitten leaving poo deposits around house

a strange thing is happening. Our kitten, Storm, is using the litter tray perfectly well. In the last couple of days we've started finding little bits of poo around the house where she's been sitting down. She's leaving the deposits without even realising. She's still using the litter tray fine and is in perfect health and happiness.

Please can somebody help we are at a loss what to do!

this is strange either she is leaving the deposits on purpose ie for territory markeking (see our page about cat poo under the urine problems heading)or she is ill and she has loose stools. If you do suspect that she is ill then taking her to the vets is the only solution.
