5 week old kitten

My 5 week old kitten was fine when we went to bed last night.This morning less than 8 hrs later he couldn't stand or walk on his own and is very lethargic and will not meow. He is usually a normal active cat. The mother got sick about 6 years ago and was diagnosed with sometype of cat fever is what the vet called it. since I have been awake with him the past 2 hours he has gotten worse with not moving and not meowing. He has a spasm of sorts once in awhile and acts as if he is having a siezure w/o the shaking part. Can someone please give me some advice on what may have happend. He also had 3 other siblings. One died at a day old and another died at 2 days. The third was a stupid mishap with our small dog thinking it was big enough to play with.(I forgot to put the gate back up).

Please do not delay, get your kitten to a vet as soon as possible. It is impossible to say what the actual cause is for your kittens illness but whatever it is it sounds sever if he can't walk around much etc.
Kittens can pick up viruses very easily especially during the first few months and without quick medical intervention they can fade quickly.
