6 year old male cat and neutering

I have a Persian cat who is turning 6 this year.

Is it still safe to get him neutered. And will there be complication after wards.
Please let me know ASAP many thanks.

yes it is perfectly safe for him to be neutered. It is a relatively simple operation for a male cat. In fact having cats neutered also has some health benefits too apart from the unwanted behaviors and pregnancies.
