I was a breeder of purebred ragdolls from 1994 - 2004 my cattery name was Sentimental Ragdolls. I picked that name because these ragdolls really touched my heart and will forever be with me in mind and soul. I was focusing on dilute colors a real challenge back then years before the new dna color testing. I bought many lines imported to Canada and test bred and finaaly found both colors chocolate and lilac from a few special pairs. I removed all seal and blue and then disaster struck... I got cancer. I gave up my last few very special dolls to Ragglerock and gave her my Sentimental cattery name and my ragdolls.ca domain. She has continued to breed "my favorite colors". Its been 5 very hard years and I am finally well enough to enjoy ragdolls again. Now my new cattery is called Beautiful Ragdolls TICA and I couldn't be happier to hear the pitter patter of little fuzzy feet again. I was definately meant to be a ragdoll caregiver. I am not in it for the money no no no. I love the colors, the silky coats the personalities. My first solid white boy came from a female we drove and purchased from Atlanta Georgia. My ragdolls helped us meet wonderful people and make fun trips in the RV. Anyway... Beautiful Polar Bear is my first Canadian born Beautiful solid white and he is huge mega huge. He is a bear!! He is 9 months old and is 12 pounds already and what a fabulous silky coat and huge plume waterfall tail. Its hard to sell babies but Polar will never leave us not for a million dollars. I also have achieved solid chocolate, lilac and lovely creams again. Heaven on earth is the house full of ragdolls !! Solid whites are not new the founder of the breed bred Josephine a solid white to a birman type male and the first ragdolls were born in California. The books The Definative Guide to Ragdolls is a must buy. Now Canada can enjoy solid white, solid chocolate and solid lilac ragdolls. I love to teach about the dilute colorings. And now there is even cinnamon.
