We adopted Gracie when she was 10 wks old from our vet's office. We had just put our 22-year old kitty down and didn't know if we wanted to raise another cat right away. However, after meeting Gracie, our hearts melted and she has been a joy & a blessing to our home ever since.

Gracie had her leg amputated at 5 weeks old, per the vet, so she adapted right away to her new lifestyle. She does not act like a "disabled" kitty, that's for sure! She runs, leaps, plays, etc., like a regular cat. She rules the house and we are so thankful we brought her home with us almost three years ago! What a joy!

Wow what a face, so beautiful.

Cats are very good at adapting to disability and although at first it can look terrible as they fall and learn what they can and cannot do, it usually works out they are just as nimble as any cat.
