Tilly

Tilly was a stray that showed up at my mom's about 11 years ago. She was pregnant & gave birth to quite a few kittens. But one night an owl or something must have killed about 3 or 4 of them, so she had 4 left, 3 males & a female, Smokey, the only one left. The boys left before they could be caught & neutered, sadly. So we don't know the fate of them. Anyhow, Tilly has some sort of maybe a neurological problem, & has had quite a tough life before she came to us. She walks weird, like something is not right in her legs, she wobbles, but still can move pretty fast. I caught her one day only because she was sick & so rushed her to the vet & took her to live with me, & my mom caught her daughter Smokey the very same day, so I ended up with both of them. Biggs is the male cat that had came around there hanging around, beating up my mom's male cat Henry. So I adopted him first, he was scared for 2 yrs. but finally him & I bonded, you can see his pic in his own cat hut. Tilly (and Smokey) are still jumpy & don't like to be held, but have made tremendous progress in taming down. I'm glad to be able to give them a home now, out of the elements, where they're comfortable now & don't have to worry about something trying to kill them, such as coyotes, weasels or raccoons. Thanks for letting me tell this story & hope you enjoy the pics of Tilly & will start another page for Smokey eventually!
