Tobias our cat

My son found "Toby" when he was only a few days old. His mother was feral and she had kittens under a tarp over our firewood. A couple of days before my son found him, we saw the mother dead in the road. He was the only one of the litter to survive. I bottle fed him until he was old enough to eat out of a bowl. He hugs me when I pick him up by wrapping his front legs around my neck. I have had lots of cats on the farm, but he is my favorite.

Toby is gorgeous. His expression reminds me of Dewey, the library cat from Spencer, Iowa. Have just read the book about Dewey and Toby, like Dewey looks to be a real character. So glad he survived. Hope he has a long & happy life.
