Hi well it sounds to me like it could be caused by ear mites

Could be ringworm

Make sure you don't touch the baldspots without gloves. It could be ringworm which is a fungus. If it is ringworm, it may show up as a red bullseye looking mark on the skin itself. I was unaware and contracted it from a kitten once. Kittens can be very prone to ringworm. I had it for months myself and it is very itchy. You'd need to get anti-fungal shot or medication from the vet and an anti-fungal cream for yourself if you wind up getting it too. Good luck.
