I had Big Foot for over 13 years. She was wandering around in the Mexican area of Chicago where I lived. Just after Christmas, I opened the door and she climbed the stairs, sat down and said, "What took you so long?" She was a loving and affectionate cat with 6 toes and at the end of her life only 1 eye. Since 1 eye had a tumor, I had it removed. She made funny little sounds and purred so loud it sounded like a motor. At night in the winter, she slept behind my ahead and when I didn't get up to feed her, bit my hand as if to say, "Get up sleepyhead." I miss her so much. I have 2 other cats, but she was the special one, the one I loved the most. Dear Big Foot, rest in peace, dear friend, you have comforted me so often. I know you are in a better place.
