Bleeding from my cats anus.

My cat is over 1 year old, we recently found out she is pregnant. I don't have money to really take her to the vet at the moment, and was hoping you could answer my question. I went to the bathroom where her litter box is and she had used the bathroom #1 and #2 and when she walked out of the box she was driping watery blood, then we picked her up and looked at her bottom and she was oozing a tiny amount of thick dark blood from her anus I made sure it wasn't her other part where the kitty's will be born. I need to know asap, thanks.

Hi
well this could be any number of things.

A UTI
https://www.our-happy-cat.com/cat-urinary-problems.html

A problem with the pregnancy, blood in her stool (see this page https://www.our-happy-cat.com/cat-diarrhea.html )

Unfortunately without a vet being able to examine her it is impossible to say for sure what is going on.

If your cat is having kittens then you may find that you will have to take them to the vets any way as kittens can often pick up things during the early weeks. And then if you keep them you will have all the neutering expenses etc. Unfortunately vet bills is one of the costs of owning a cat and thats why i always recommned cat insurance to people as i know from personal experience just how expensive it can all be.

Check with your vet to see if there is any help available in your area from animal charities etc to help with vet bills etc. Sometimes there is help available.

Hope your cat is better soon
