Boo likes to jump! - A Cat Poem

Boo likes to jump, he's at it all day,
He bobs his tail once and he's on his way!
He bounces from chair to sofa to table,
he'd jump on the ceiling if he were able!
Boo why do you bound from piller to post,
darting twixt curtains like some kinda ghost!
I want you to settle and sit on my lap,
it would be so nice to hold you for a nap.
But you are a kitten and kittens must play,
chasing some shadows til the end of the day.
When finally you doze and relax with a purr,
i check out your ears and brush out your fur.
If only you knew is was giving inspection,
I'm sure it would be met with some rejection!
