Gotta Love them Mama Cats and their Babies

My last update on Calico and her last surviving kitten that I posted on June 15th was not very promising.

In fact I was considering having them euthanized as it seemed they was not doing well reguardless of the countless hours, days and weeks that I have put into saving them.

However, today I have excellent news to report.
I moved them to my screened in porch this week and have started them both on antibiotics and flea treatment and they are responding favorably!!!!! Thank goodness.

The little blind kitten died last week (sadly) but bless its heart, it was a fighter but just had too much wrong with it and it wouldnt thrive.

But I am now certain that Mama Calico and her surviving little boy whom I named (Fatz) are both going to survive.
I am having Mama spayed in 2 weeks and will have little Fatz neutered when he is 4 months old.
They will then become a part of my "Feline Crew" as I wont be able to part with them after all the worry and care I have put into saving them.
Oh well.....whats 2 more little sweet mouths to feed anyway?????
I will post pictures of them soon.

Its always nice to have a postive report to post.

Thanks for reading.
