my cat is 17 yrs old(cat age) for the past one year i have not been able to sleep thru the nite she will do her best to wake us up first by scratching me on my back then lately by making these baby like cries very loud

have taken her to see a vet on 2-3 occassions she is found to be in pretty good health no major problems dehydrated at times so we will IV liquid under her skin

assuming she has no medical problems is there a cure for this kind of behavior?

if she has medical problems what kind and what cure is there i want my cat to live but i also need my sleep

thank you

No there is no cure for this i'm afraid. many cat owners go through the same thing. cats are at there most active at night and this is why they want your attention then too.

However as your cat is 17 i may also suggest that her behavior may have changed due to the onset of what i like to call senior moments. It is best if you read my webpage called senior cats it will help to explain why this behavior starts to happen later in life. Find it under cat care pages.

Unfortunately i don't think there is much you can do apaprt from not allowing her in your room at night.
