Cat acting funny

Our 5 month old female kitten has been sticking her bottom up in the air all the time. We think she could be mating for the first time as she keeps going funny whenever we har a cat meowing, alway the same tomcat

Could she be pregnant?

well at 5 months she is rather young to be pregnant but it is possible if her heat has already started (usually after 4 months old a cat moves into adulthood).

the action of sticking her bottom up i would say sounds more like she is experiencing her season rather than being pregnant.
