Cat and Hair loss in winter

his hair loss is only in winter around his bottom and a bit at the top of his tall. so can you please tell me what it his please/ ive used front line on him already. i cant get him to the vets as he wont go into his bocat box. thank you.

Well I can't say for sure as to make a proper diagnosis a vet would have to examine the area for mites, skin allergies etc.

It could be that he is reacting to central heating in the house ie. drying his skin.

My cat only has bald spots in winter

Our 4 yr old female cat only has bald spots in the winter. Its like she over grooms herself. In the warmer months the hair grows back and shes fine...im not sure what is making this happen any ideas??

I have read your comments have been to vets and she is not worried as his skin were the hair loss is healthy and it always grows back in summer she didnt think as he is healthy and eating has anyone else had this problem
