Cat declawed

I just got my cat declawed a week ago. Now she has been chewing on her paws and making them even more sore and shes starting to limp… I bought her an E-Collar (a cone) so that she cannot get to her paws, but I cannot leave it on her at all times… Help!

I am sorry to hear that you have had your cat de clawed as it is considered a cruel thing to do. As it affects their ability to defend them selves, climb and even balance. It can also be very painful afterwards as it is likened to having your fingers amputated from the knuckle.

It sounds like your cat is in pain, so you must take them back to the vet and and see if they can do anything.
