cat eye issue

My 6 yr old tabby has an unusual eye condition where his eyes seem to roll to the outside of his head and he seems unable to focus. This happens when he first opens them after sleeping/napping. and is very recent in occurrence. There is no redness, tearing, swelling or other syptoms, just this "crazed" look.

Oh how strange. My first thought is perhaps hes a heavy sleeper, I have seen some people like that when they first wake up (it's a thought).

I must admit to have not come across this before. If he is normal the rest of the time then I suppose it may be nothing to worry about but just check with the vet next time you visit.

If it starts to happen more often then the vet is the best option.

I do have a web page about other cat eye issues which you may find of further interest here

best wishes Kate
