I could take a guess but your best bet is to take to vet. I know a move like that had to be tough. good luck

Hi, this definately sounds like a skin allergy or allergic reaction to something. Little Mo had a similar problem and it turned out she was allergic to flea bites, even though she did not have fleas at the time, one had got on her and bitten her and she had reacted. The vet had to give her an injection.
It sounds like quite severe reaction that your cat has. I would strongly recommend a visit to the vets.
