Cat Gallery - Dakota Roache Gordon

My family wanted a pet. One Friday in August of 2009 we went to the animal shelter in Manhattan and my son Ozzie saw Dakota who wuz named Katt and wanted him.He was found in the street just the day before. Since I've had my boys we have never had a pet, so this wuz going to be interesting for all of us. Now that we have Dakota in our lives my husband and I teach Ozzie and his brother Zamir what its like to care for a living creature/being that doesn't say thank you but that love and affection can be shown in other ways. It has been great, Dakota uses the litter box from day one but he does tinkle on some of my husbands clothing from time to time. He's very active, he plays fetch like a dog, if you throw his favorite ball he will run and get it and bring it to you and drop it at your feet. He will not move until you throw it again. Sleeping on my chest (lady of the house) sometimes in the middle of the night freaks me out, but i guess his intentions are ok since he doesnt hiss or try to hurt anyone. In other words, Dakota Roache we hope to keep him around forever, he has a lot of character and loves attention. At only 1 year, I can only imagine what he will be like as he gets older. We luv him and hope u do tooooo.
