Nah-Nah! This is Patch my cat

Patch was a stray that we took in about 8 years ago. He had haematoma in his left ear which left it as you can see in the photo. He is well known in our area as he rolls on his back to get his tummy tickled when anyone is near. He is a right character and we all love him to bits.

Happy Memories

Hi Fiona.

Just to let you know that i have been thinking about you over the last few weeks. I hope you are starting to feel a little better now after loosing your Patch, although i know you probably aren't!

Every time i start to think i am getting over loosing Reg just a tiny bit, i have a wave of guilt come over me & feel twice as upset! Oh, this grief is a strange thing.

Anyway, i just wanted you to know that you are not alone in whatever mad grief you are going through. I know one day, soon hopefully, we will be able to think of the little fellows and enjoy the happy memories.

Oh no, i am so sorry for you. Your heart must be broken.

I do understand, i lost Reg recently too. I am still so sad and angry and in shock, but have used the love i had for Reg to take in 3 new rescued boys which while they can never replace him, it has helped me cope with his loss. If it is something you can do, in a few weeks, once the numbness starts to wear off, i would recommend it there are too many out there who need a lap to curl up on.

I have to believe that the heartbreak we feel is the price that we pay for the joy that we get from the little furries.

R.I.P. Patch.....28th Sep 2011.....We had you for over 9yrs,you brought us so much joy and happiness that we will always remember.You were a proper character always up to something,and the fun we had playing with your toys.
