Hi well this is a difficult issue. If it is just now and again and in play then its just a normal thing, my own cats does this sometimes. However I have heard of cases where cats can go frantic chasing their tails. Sometimes it is an allergy or parasite problem other times it is down to a mental illness which unfortunatley I am not sure is actually diagnosed yet as I have heard of owners who have neen told by the vet that they do not know what the problem is.

Take your cat to the vet to see if it could be down to a parasite or allergy problem which should be able to e treated, If not then the vet will be able to advise you further if there is anything which can be done.

I hope it is something which can be sorted easily.

best wishes Kate
