Cat groaning and an growling

What does it mean when cat suddenly pukes up white stuff and than starts groaning or growling. Please help me

well there can be several reasons for cats to vomit but if she is vomiting white phlegm it could be a sign that she has a a hairball that she is trying to get rid of. please see my page here for more information

the growling is probably because she feels a bit fed up or uncomfortable because of it. If she continues this behavior and has not produced a hairball then a trip to the vets may be a good idea in case there are other complications.
