Cat has clumps hanging from her behind.

my 3 year old cat as got brown lumps hanging from her bottom. It looks like poo but it isn't as i have tried 2 remove them. She is constantly licking her lips which only started recently.

well it is impossible to say for sure what these are. they could just be clumps of matted fur and feces. This is a problem especially for cats with longer fur. They will need removing by a vets or pet groomer.

As for the smacking of the lips togeather well this could be an early sign of something like diabetes which makes a cat very thirsty. However as i say it is impossible to say for sure without tests being done.

So your bets option would be to arrange and appt with your vet as soon as possible to have both of these problems looked into further.
