Cat Has lump on eye lid

My 15 year old cat has developed what looks like a cyst on her eyelid. She constantly scratches the top off until it bleeds which I assume means it is itchy.


What could it be?

You could well be right that it is some sort of cyst or even a possible growth. the fact that she keeps making it bleed means that it must be causing her some discomfort or irritation.

Your best option is to take her to the vets I think. you can't really second guess this kind of thing and to be honest the sooner it is diagnosed the better the outcome.
