our 3 year old indoor cat recently started scratching and has scabs all over her head an neck. it started gettin really bad just the past few weeks. she is throwing up everyday several times, seems to be ggettin skinnier, has bald spots on her head an neck. when it first started last year, we took her to the vet an they tested her for everything, but they couldnt find anything wrong. so they gave her a shot an it went away. well it came back now an is 20 times worse! we just dont know what to do. i know its not fleas cause we use flea med from the vet, we have none. do u have any suggestions or advice? thanks

So sorry to hear of your cats illness but all i can really say is that if your cat is showing all these symptoms ie vomiting, scabs and thinness then you really do need to take them back to the vets. It may be something not related to the last time.

Ask your vet also if it could be caused by an allergy to something just in case your cat is extremely sensitive to something. Your vet will be able to say whether the symptoms could be caused by something.

I really do hope your vet can find the cause soon as it must be very distressing for you and your cat.

best wishes Kate
