Cat Has Swollen Head

My Siamese kitten has a swollen head and is wanting much more attention all of a sudden. I love her and hope she's ok, but neither me nor my parents know what's wrong or what to do? Can anyone give some help? I really want to know if she's ok or not. This is also happening currently with my dad's cat. According to my dad, my kitten's head was so swollen after I left this morning, that she could hardly even open her eyes. She's also red from her ears to her eyes. It's gotten better, but I'd still like to know for the future.

Hi could have been an allergic reaction to something or even a stick or a bite from something.

make sure there isn't any nasty substances around that she could get hold of. If it happens again i really do think it may be a good idea to have her checked out by a vet. Sometimes allergic reactions can be very nasty and could cause breathing difficulties.
