Hi
i don't think anything is wrong with her. i have had cats my whole life and I know how changeable they can be in their moods.

As for this cat who is in a strange environment with other animals around etc I am not surprised that she is finding it difficult to adjust.

I would just let her do what she feels most comfortable with. When she wants to hide, let her any attempt at trying to get to her will only increase her fear.

As long as she is eating and drinking ok and using the litter tray I would just help her to adjust by giving her lost of things in her room to keep her stimulated and happy.

See this page for some ideas on this

best wishes Kate
