Hi
Sounds like a respiratory infection or related illness which can affect the lungs.

You need to take your cat back to the vets as soon as possible. It is impossible to be bale to tell you what could be causing this problem without a proper examination.

Sometimes heart conditions can also cause breathing issues so it is important to take your cat back to the vet as soon as possible.

My own cat had a heart murmur and this would affect her breathing sometimes. But medication was able to treat the condition.

Hope your cat is better soon
