cat is stiff in the mornings

Henry has had problems walking we took him to a vet who gave him a shot of anti biotics for a VIRUS.

Henry was extremely weak and walked as if drunk and un coordinated. this was mostly as he woke up and would pass. After the 3 shot he was fine for a couple days but then did it again.

I am very upset and will contact the vet again the morning. do you have any other ideas as to why this is?

Umm I agree with you, saying it is a virus does sound a bit wishy washy especially as the symptoms may suggest either some muscular or nerve problem such as arthritis

Or perhaps a brain issue.

I am not a vet and so cannot give you a diagnosis but if i were you i was ask a lot more questions at the vets. if you do not get a satisfactory answer i would seek a second opinion from another vets. i have done this myself as i have found that one vets approach can be very different from anothers.
