cat is vomiting alot

our 8 year old cat is throwing up a lot. it might be hair balls but we see no hair.

hi well it does very much depend on how long this has been going on for. Sometimes a hairball can take a week or so to get up and up until that time the cat may vomit white phlegm a lot. When the hairball does come up it looks like a small grey mouse, not very pleasant at all.

However if the cat is vomiting more than that all the time and it has been going on for more than a week then it could be caused by any number of things and the best option is to take them to see a vet.
