Cat loosing weight

my cat is 3 years old had a litter of kittens one died it had lost alot of weight frequently a few weeks after mom cat has lots a lot of weight her neck is skin and bones but she eats and is playful with her babies no real change in behaviour except a lot of weight loss.

When anyone asks me a question that is connected with their concern for their pets health i always advise them to take their cat to the vets to get them checked out. there is no other way to know what could be causing the weight loss and the sooner your cat sees a vet the quicker it can be sorted out.
Hopefully it is just normal weight loss after a birth.
