cat losing weight and eats all the time?

what does it mean when my cat who has a heart condition is losing weight and eats all the time? oh, bathroom is not an issue, he goes fine, stinky but fine.

Hi well a heart condition can produce these symptoms but then so can other conditions such as problems with the thyroid gland.

You really do need to take him back to the vets for some further tests and treatment.

My own cat has a heart mummer but a few years ago she too started to eat like a horse but got thinner and thinner. It turned out to be a thyroid problem. She is now fine but she did have to have lots of treatment from the vets.

The sooner you can get them checked out the better, as after a while muscle starts to be eaten once all the fat is gone and they start to get very weak.
