Cat losing weight

My cat Patches is 16 years old and is losing weight in her back by her hind legs what can I do

You need to take your cat to see the vet as soon as possible. Loss of weight can be a sign of several conditions one of which is thyroid problems. this needs to be treated sooner rather than later before the cat loses too much weight and muscle.
Your vet will need to do some tests to determine the exact problem before medication can be prescribed.

Please do not wait too long before you take your cat to the vets.
