Cat lovers gifts for the discerning woman are much harder to come by than you think. I always like to buy my mother a cat related gift for her birthday as I know she really loves anything decorated with a cute kitty.

However she is also a art lover and loves to decorate her home with pictures of cats. So when I came across bags, purses and scarves decorated with the beautiful art of Laurel Burch, I thought what a perfect combination gift they would be.

What I like most about them is their absolutely eye grabbing colours and sparkle they have and also their rather groovy abstract cats. No two cats are the same and each seems to have their own personality.

I even thought that the scarves were so wonderful that if she didn’t want to wear them all the time, they would look great has wall hangings.
