cat meowing and lethergic

Why is my cat meowing a lot and keeps licking his rear? He is very lethargic as well? Any ideas?

hi
well the fact that he is licking his behind would suggest that he is in some discomfort in that area. it could be so many things which could be causing this from an infection, constipation, blocked anal glands or even parasites.

he really does need to see a vet as soon as possible so that treatment can start sooner rather than later.
