Cat Mither

My eight year old tabby (Pepper) sleeps so heavily that he falls off the edge of the couch or bed. I am always moving him and I worry when he does hit the floor because he falls so heavily. I check him for injuries but I am worried he could be bruised and in pain somehow.

How can I help him? I have all kind of comfy baskets for him to sleep in but he still picks those dangerous places.

Hi
Well the quick answer is you simply cant. Where a cat chooses to sleep will be entirely up to them. All you can do which are ding is to provide him with safe comfy places to choose from and hope that he will choose one of those. Have you tried the basket beds so that he cant fall out of those, they come in all sorts of sizes, materials and shapes. https://www.our-happy-cat.com/cat-beds.html

best wishes Kate
