cat not eating and urinating blood

my 5 year old female cat has never had any problems until recently. she was walking in pain and urinating blood. we took her to the vet and she was diagnosed with an infection and was given antibiotics and pain killers. it was an oral dosage that was to be given with her meals. it has been over a week and her infection seems to be gone and she is done with her meds but for the past few days she has not eaten anything. she is the type of cat that loves food and would always come running during supertime, even eating the leftovers of my other cat. i don't know if she is just traumatized and associates meals with giving oral medicine (which she absolutley hated) but she will not eat anything anymore (even treats.) if we put food near her she starts to gag and throw up (a reaction she would have when she received her medication). she has been under the bed or hiding the past 3 days and looks very tired and weak. i have never seen her act this way. will this reaction go away or is this another problem????

if I were you I would be straight back on the phone to your vets. I would like to rule out any other possible cause for her not eating. She must be getting extreamly hungrey by now and may need some extra vet care to get her strength back u etc.
Don't take any chances if you really think that she is getting weak of hasn't eaten for days.

I do hope all works out well.

best wishes Kate
