cat not eating

my cat hasnt eaten in a day or two. just lays on the ground and meows alot. what is wrong?

Unfortunately it is impossible to say what could be the cause of your cats change in behavior from these basic symptoms.

It may be that she is simply feeling under the weather as we all do from time to time and will be fine again in a few days time. However if she continues not to eat or drink fro more than 3 days then you will need to take her to see a vet so that he can examine her as this will be the only way to properly diagnose any problems.

In the mean time try to encourage her to drink some water as dehydration can be a big problem.
