Cat personality change

I have a long haired American gray/Tortoiseshell cat mix, her name is Kitty, we had to shave her because she was covered in mats, and when we got her back, her personality had a compelte 360. Is there anything wrong?

No it is likely that she is just in a little shock and perhaps a little fearful after her experience. After all cats are used to having fur and this may be worrying her at the moment.

I wouldn't worry too much. Give her some space and time to adjust and calm down again. Be there for her but allow her to find her feet again.

Perhaps a new toy would be a good idea to take her mind off of things, distraction techniques like this can be very beneficial for cats who are anxious.
