Cat Photo Page For Coco

Coco is my six year old persian that my family adopted from our local shelter. My daughters and I are volunteers at the shelter. A group of persians were rescued from a horder and we used to go and visit them, brush them,play with them etc. I gravitated to the persian because I've had many persian through out my life. We decided to foster Coco when the oppurtunity came up because he was my daughters favorite of the bunch. He just has that extra something. We fostered him for six weeks over the holidays and when the time came to give him back I was heart sick. Having coco with our family for six weeks brought back so many memories. I'd forgotton how much I enjoyed the daily grooming and the challenge of winning a cats trust. We already had three petrs at the time a male cat and two large dogs but Coco
fit in with all of them. He is the most confident cat I've ever seen. He has zero fear of ANYTHING. He walks around as if he knows he's the most handsome cat on the block(and he is). He went back to the shelter for 24 hours and that was all I could take. We adopted him the very next morning and although our house is very full and I'm in battle with animal hair every day Just to have coco with us is all worth it. I've come full circle with this experience because I had to give my two persians up when my daughter was born ten years ago and now my daughter brought me back to the cats I love.
