Cat Pooping
I have one cat, he's a big guy and at one time I only had one litter box. I was told that you should have an extra litter box for every cat that you have. So for a while when it was just one litter box he would poop on the floor in front of my living room window right under the heater...so I got another one litter box and he hasn't pooped on the floor, now though, it's getting to the point where he's trying so hard to cover up the poop in the box that it flings out of it and ends up on the floor, so I think I just need bigger litter boxes for him. He's a big cat about 20 lbs. |

pooping on the rug
My suggestion is to get him to the vet and have him checked out. Cats do not do things out of anger, and are usually very clean animals. Clean the pan every day, more than once if necessary, would you like to use a dirty toilet? I have 8 cats, and only seldom do they go outside the boxes, when they are not clean. Hope this helps, don't get rid of him for this reason, find out what is wrong. |
