cat pooping outside her litter box?!?

hi, recently my cat has been pooping outside of her litter box. it happened twice and it happened all in the same place. she is only peeing in her litter box. We do have a dog and i don't know if that is the problem or not. Is she scared of the dog?

P.S. she is not spayed yet.

A un spayed cat will have stronger territorial urges than a spayed cat and this could be the cause of your problem.

Cats also use their feces as scent markers in fact it is a more urgent scent marker as it is both visible and smelly.
