Cat quiet and not like herself

My cat (7 yrs old) is bieng quiet and unlike herself. She didnt come in last night, and my mom had to go outside and find her, and then bring her in. She just recently had a hairball, and after that was when she started acting weird. Now she just lays in one spot and sleeps. Whats wrong? :(

Hi
it could be that she still has some more hairballs to come up. This can cause a cat to feel unwell and not to want to move around much.

I have a web page about hairballs which has lots more information on it. here

hairballs.html

If she is still under the weather or if other symptoms appear during the next few days to a week then your best option is to take her to see a vet to see if there is anything else wrong.

Hope she is better soon

Thanks. We took her to a vet, and found out she has some kind of kidney problems. Shes on antibiotics and is staying at the hospital for a few days. But she'll be back at our house in a few days.

Thanks for letting me know the outcome. At least she is in the right place now and should be back with you soon. Kate
