Cat spine

I have a 9 month old cat and I got her from a shelter when she was 2 months. As she got older her spine grew out wierd. It sticks out when she sits and it looks uncomfortable. She is always stretching like constantly and I don't know if its serious. Should I take her to the vet? And she is always rolling over. She starts to walk or run and she slows down and just rolls over it doesn't look normal It looks painful not like a cute rolling over. I have owned cats before and its scaring me a bit. She is an inside/outside cat.

if you have any concerns for her at all about this i would definitely recommend taking her to the vets to make sure she is not in any pain.

i did a similar thing recently with my own cat, he had a funny sort of lump that would appear on his side from time to time. i thought I was imagining it but I took him to the vets to be sure. luckily it was nothing to worry about, but it is always better to be safe than sorry.

Hopefully it is nothing serious and not causing your cat any discomfort but as i say better to check.

best wishes Kate
