cat throwing up and has cut

Two questions. my cat is a female cat and she throws up about every month. Is that a problem?also she has a cut on the side of her neck and it has dried blood around it. it also feels hard what she i do about the cut?

It is not uncommon for a cat to throw up occasionally like this. It may be that she gets hairballs. Please see my page about this for more information here

As for the cut well it sounds to me like it may be a bite which may have become infected hence the lump. You could clean it up with salt water and see how she is in a day or so. but if the lump gets any bigger or does not appear to heal then she will need to see a vet as the infection will need treating.
