Cat wees on bathroom rugs

I have a beautiful and loving 14 year old female cat that pees on our bathroom rugs. Any bathroom rug. But not on any other rug. We keep her litter box very clean. Can you help?

Bathroom rugs seem to be a favorite choice for cats when they go through episodes like this I'm not sure why, apart from the fact that bathroom rugs are often the tufty kind and so may feel a little more like grass perhaps.

Anyway please read my page about this issue and why it happens and also take your cat through the confinement retraining process to help break the cycle and hopefully calm your cat down so that they no longer feel the need to do this.
