Cat Weight Loss/Peeing on bathroom floor

by Diana
(Wilsonville, OR USA)

My cat has lost weight, I can feel her ribs. She has normal energy and seems otherwise unaffected except that if the litter box isn't very clean, she's peeing on the bathroom floor.

She used to be an indoor/outdoor cat, but now she's only indoor. Her coat isn't as smooth as it used to be and she is losing some fur, but she's a tabby with lots of fur so i'm not sure this isn't normal.

She eats...the weight loss is the main concern.

There could be a hormaone inbalance which could be presventing her body from ustilising the nutrients from her foo properly. The only way to know for sure is the see a vet who will be able to do some checks to see.

Weight loss should definately be checked out as soon as possible.
