Ok well i adopted a kitten at the shelter but they failed to tell me he had ringworms 2 of my other cats got it plus me and my husband did as well and we're being treated for it now. Im 7 months pregnant will my unborn child get ringworms?

I'm sorry but this is a question for your doctor to answer as i do not know if they can be passed to an unborn child or not.

i am shocked that an animal shelter could re home a cat which had ringworm. They should give all cats a thorough health check before hand and also treat them for things like fleas and worms. I would be angry and would be seeking some answers from the animal home. it must have been very unpleasant for you all.

i hope all is Ok and that you have and your unborn child have not been put into any health concerns.

best wishes Kate
